Eastern Montana Experiences Multiple Planned Power Outages to Help Power Mechagodzilla
The fifteen people who live east of Billings in eastern Montana have experienced several planned power outages in the early morning this week. These thirty minute power outages every two hours until 10am are a rare form of energy conservation being used by the federal government to help power it’s Mechagodzilla.
“I saw the trailer for Godzilla Vs. Kong and knew that no matter who won we were going to have a big problem. It became my top priority to develop a robot that could help fight this new threat to save the American people.” President Joe Biden tweeted on twitter Monday morning. “These people from the Monarch facility came to me with three executive orders and I signed them as fast as I could.”
Residents of Eastern Montana have been complaining on Twitter and Facebook about the power outages. “Can someone help me reset my microwave clock? I don’t know how?” Agnes Oldypants posted on her Facebook page every morning this week. “I think it’s ridiculous that we are wasting my power to help defeat fictional characters.” A concerned resident tweeted before his tweet was taken down by independent fact checkers.
The black outs currently are only being rolled out every two hours starting at 2am till 10am. A memo from the Montana Department of Resources has stated that if not enough energy has been conserved by March that the power outages may become more frequent and possibly statewide.
The Montana National Guard has started to activate certain units to help develop science fiction weapons like “drones” and “missiles” to help combat the monsters. “People might think Montana behind the times, but that can’t be further from the truth. We are expecting our first set of radios later this fall,” Captain John Jacob Jingleheimerschmidt of the Montana National Guard commented to the press Tuesday.
