The Town of Hamilton Has Been Cancelled

After confusion with the famous Broadway musical, the town of Hamilton, Montana has officially been canceled. The decision to cancel the town came from Disney+ and Governor Bullocks office.

"At first it was confusion between the two, but I'm willing to keep digging the hole deeper. Any town that shares a name with an offensive musical that celebrates America, must be erased from history.” Sean Smalldong, a historian from Missoula, commented on his podcast Everything Is Wrong With You, I’m Perfect.

The town is officially unincorporated and the county seat will be transferred to Corvallis. Corvallis will also absorb all town services and properties.

“Listen with everything going on with the world right now, it’s just socially irresponsible and ridiculous to let a town share a name with a broadway play that's across the nation. Especially when that play is offensive enough to recast the founding fathers as minorities, and even more appalling, make a case that America was great. I know the cast publicly called out President Trump, but that’s not good enough. They have to completely destroy the social system, and towns like Hamilton have to take that into account when naming themselves.” Sean Smalldong continued before going on a ten minute rant about how Black Panther wasn’t black enough.

The Hamilton family that now lives in South Corvallis, who’s great, great grandfather founded the former town, made a public statement that they “are ashamed to share a last name with such a racist musical”. The family has applied to be put into a witness protection like program for their own safety and as a bonus benefit will have their surname changed.
