Montana to Succeed from the United States if Costco Raises Hot Dog Combo Price
A petition filed today at the capitol building calling for the state to succeed from the Union if Costco increased the price of the hotdog combo deal. The petition is being fast tracked through the state house and senate to add it to the state constitution this fall in time to be included on mail in ballots.
So far the petition has three million signatures from Montana citizens and citizens from other states. "I've never been to Montana, but any state that stands against tyranny and the principles that make this country great. Well I would happily die defending such a state." John Apple from Ohio commented on the petition website.
"Objectively speaking this is one of the worst decisions Costco could possibly make. I find it hard to believe that Costco could seriously be considering this as a business model." Ben Shapiro commented on his popular talk show.
Howard Stern also commented on the issue during his popular morning show."Of all the disasters to take place this year, the mere question of raising the hot dog price is the worst thing to happen to the American people."
The petition has seen bipartisan support with signatures from both Steve Daines and John Tester. Other notable signatures include Governor Steve Bullock, Greg Gianforte, Matt Rosendale, President Trump, Ted Turner, Chris Pratt, Justin Timberlake, James Corden, Alex Jones, Joe Rogan, Former President George Bush Jr, and former President Obama.
Notable exceptions include Caitlyn Jenner and current Lieutenant Governor Mike Cooney who chose not to comment on the matter. People have commented that it might be because he secretly is three beavers in a trench coat.
